We always aim to provide the best service
Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati expressed her agency had followed up on the council's suggestions and input to improve the cheap subsidized food program for Jakartans.
"We always aim to provide the best service to the community in a bid to maintain good government through an evaluation process," she expressed, Thursday (9/21).
Here is KPKP Agency's Strategy to Stabilize Chicken PricesHer party intensified outreach to the public regarding information that cheap subsidized food would not be closed but would be adjusted, thus it was right on target.
"The way is for beneficiaries to bring their KTP, family card (KK), and Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) when making transactions to buy subsidized food. This is effective in eradicating the practice of extortion, thus the distribution of cheap food is right on target to beneficiaries," she explained.
She went on to say that the improvements made were placing announcements about changing queue numbers starting at 7 AM and collecting cheap subsidized food at Pasar Jaya outlets according to the agreement.
"Usually the collection of cheap subsidized food at outlets or shops starts operating at 8 AM or 9 AM. So, people don't need to queue from 3 AM for a queue number," she explained.
Her agency would also add more outlets to minimize long queues when buying food.
"Together with Pasar Jaya, we're currently preparing the infrastructure and facilities for additional outlets, including EDC machines and refrigeration machines, to ensure that the supply of meat and fish remains good," she continued.
Together with related stakeholders every Thursday, her agency held an evaluation meeting of the subsidized cheap food program and the distribution of SPHP rice.
"We, together with Pasar Jaya, will also put up banners to eradicate the practice of extortion on subsidized cheap food programs," she stated.
